Mr. Brett

I started my journey with the Creative Children’s Center since I was 2 years old. I was enrolled in CCC’s educational Preschool program until I entered Myersville’s Kindergarten program. I practically grew up at the Creative Children’s Center and their programs and educators have shaped who I am today. While in Highschool and the first couple years of college, I worked as a Teacher’s aide for several years and then worked as the Administrative Assistant for a couple years before starting, what I had thought was, my “career job”. After four years at another corporate company down the road, I felt that I could do more to support my local community. I had completed by Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics and well as completing my MBA from the University of Maryland. I’m very happy to be back and supporting the growing vision of Early Childhood Education right here in our local community. I greatly enjoy working with students, families and teachers each and every day to make a positive difference in their lives. We are fully invested in the children and families of our community who seek the best possible education and care available.

The Creative Children’s Center shares a lot of history within our community, as we have called Myersville our home for 24 years. Our renewed vision and mission introduced significant changes and improvements to our school across all facets of our school’s operational model. Making these investments is critical to the success of our students as they participate in new challenges that better prepare them for the world ahead. So far, CCC has made significant investments in IT solutions, school security (both inside and outside the classroom), MSDE and Maryland Excels Accreditation, experienced and credentialed teachers, outdoor facilities improvements and so much more! We understand that families have a lot on their plate and it is our role and prerogative as educational professionals and leaders in our community to ensure that your child’s transition to school and childcare is as seamless as possible. Promoting a welcoming, safe and secure environment for your child to learn, develop and grow is an integral part of our mission here at Creative.

I would also like to thank our families, teachers and staff who have been with the Creative Family over the years and supporting the improvements that have been implemented over the last couple of years. Knowing that these program modifications were necessary to support the needs of our growing community, I had to prioritize specific investments to our growing school. As we have seen nearly an 800% increase in enrollment since 2017, these investments were absolutely necessary to ensure that quality and security were not compromised. I would like to thank those families who have supported us along the way and welcome all of our new families to our growing community and school. I look forward to establishing a positive-working relationship with all of our families and students and look forward to what the future holds. From all of us here at the Creative Children’s Center, thank you again and welcome to the family!

Mrs. Jackie

Mrs. Jackie has been with Creative Children's Center since July 2018. Mrs. Jackie has earned her Master's Degree in Financial Management and Accounting from the University of Maryland. Her experience as a revenue and billing analyst and staff accountant for 4 years is much welcomed experience to our Management Team. Working closely with our Management Team, teachers, staff and families, we are able to prioritize program improvements for the fiscal year. We welcome her to the Team and look forward to a successful 2018-2019 school year!

Chief Financial Officer

Mrs. Michele

After receiving my AA in Teacher Education from Frederick Community College, and my BS in Elementary Education from Salisbury (State) University I began what will be in January my 30 year career to date in Early Childhood Education.

I began my career working in three different privately owned child care centers in both Frederick and Montgomery Counties.  After 11 years of the private sector of child care I made the change to corporate child care working for the next 15 years for KinderCare Learning Centers in Frederick.  Over the course of those 26 years I worked as a Teacher, Assistant Director, Director, Tutorial Specialist, Health and Safety Coordinator, Bus Driver, Program Specialist, etc.  Pretty much any and everything that needs to be done in a child care center I have done!

For the last 3 years I have been employed by Child Care Choices, an agency of The Mental Health Association of Frederick County, as an Early Childhood Specialist. I have provided behavioral support for both licensed center and family child care facilities in Frederick and Carroll Counties. I have worked with Maryland Credential, EXCELS and Accreditation initiatives as well.

I am very excited to begin my new position here at Creative Children’s Center on Monday August 5th as the Co-Director/Behavioral Specialist.  I will be working very closely with Mr. Brett and Mrs. Jackie on maintaining the high level of quality child care you receive and have come to expect from Creative Children’s Center.  As a center we will be going through the Maryland Accreditation Process, which is an accreditation awarded to centers going over and above the state licensing requirements, and providing the highest level of care possible to children and families.  I am looking forward to a long and rewarding career here at Creative Children’s Center helping to drive the company forward and investing in our youngest most vulnerable members of society

I have been a teacher for five years and have been at CCC for a year, teaching the transitional class (3-4 year old's).  I attended Towson University and received my bachelor's degree in Family and Human Services, with a focus on children. I currently hold a Maryland Child Care Credential Level 6 to provide children of the Myersville community with the latest innovations in child care. I enjoy working with kids because I love to see how they grow throughout the year.

I started my journey at Creative Children's Center since April 2019. I am the co-teacher for the Early Learning Classroom. I recently came to CCC from Bright Horizons where I was a two year old teacher and a toddler teacher. I am currently working towards my AA in Early Childhood Education and expect to graduate in May 2020. I have worked with children since my internship in high school. My passion in life has always been to watch and help children grow and I am happy to continue my career here at CCC.

Early Learning Teacher

Mrs. Savannah

This is my first year teaching at Creative Children's Center being the Lead teacher for the Toddler classroom (18-23 month's old). I have worked previously at Bright Horizons teaching two year old's and being a resource teacher. I graduated with my Associate Degree from Pierpont Community and Technical College where I majored in Early Education. What I enjoy about working with children is watching them grow and seeing their "light bulb" moments. My future aspirations would be to build a warm and welcome environment for the children and to build a strong parent teacher relationship.
